In the last hours of 2024, Messari – a company that offers crypto market analysis products – released its 2025 predictions. In their predictions, many altcoins and cryptocurrency trends are pointed out. Some of the altcoins that stood out were VIRTUAL coin, Hyperliquid, PENGU, etc. Here are the items:
- Hyperliquid’s Outstanding Performance Could End… On December 30, 2023, 1 BTC = 396 SOL, while a year later, the ratio rose to 1 BTC = 493 SOL. Despite the positive sentiment in 2024, SOL lagged behind BTC. With a fully diluted market capitalization of $27 billion, HYPE’s market capitalization is a quarter of SOL’s, half the market capitalization of COIN and equal to FTT’s peak market capitalization. While Hyperliquid will be a dominant narrative in 2025, the market may have priced it in the fourth quarter of 2024.
- VIRTUAL market cap will surpass TAO market cap in three months… TAO has daily emissions of around $3.3 million and will likely remain flat in USD terms until dTAO corrects its fixed supply pressure. In the meantime, more and more VIRTUALs are being locked in intermediary LPs and spent for issuance.
