This week, Binance released a number of updates and promotions across its various platforms, including Binance Futures, Binance Earn, and network support. The exchange announced a number of important updates and promotions on its platforms this week. While leverage ratios and margin levels are adjusted, a new Word of the Day game provides a fun way to learn about Meme Coins. Binance Futures is offering three new promotions, token coupons and trading fee discounts for its users. On the other hand, Binance Pool offers an additional bonus for CKB and BTC miners. Leverage regulations and new WOTD concept for futures trading introduced
Binance Futures will be active starting from 13:30 on May 28, 2024. Will adjust leverage and margin levels for select USDⓈ-M and COIN-M perpetual futures contracts. The update aims to optimize risk management parameters for these contracts. Existing positions opened before the update will not be affected.
In other news, the exchange has launched a new Word of the Day (WOTD) game focusing on Meme Coins. This educational game allows users to test their knowledge of the crypto dictionary and current trends regarding Meme Coins. The event period is from May 27, 2024 to June 2, 2024. Eligible users can participate in up to two WOTD games per day. They can also use the total reward pool of 500,000 points for USDT coupons and transaction fee discounts. Additionally, new users who sign up with the code “WOTD2024” can benefit from a 10% discount on spot trading fees.
Three new promotions and hard fork support for two altcoins in Binance Futures
Binance Futures is introducing three new promotions with a total reward pool of 110 TAO token vouchers. New users who register for the promotion, make their first futures trade, and reach the minimum trading volume are eligible for rewards based on their total trading volume during the period. The promotion is valid from May 27, 2024 to June 2, 2024.
On the other hand, the exchange will support network upgrades and hard forks for Sei (SEI) and Kadena (KDA). To ensure a smooth user experience, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for these tokens on the relevant network upgrade dates (May 27 for SEI and May 30 for KDA). The transaction will not be affected.
Finally, Binance Pool called out users who are mining CKB or BTC. Because it is launching a new promotion offering an additional 30,000 CKB to be shared among these users. The promotion is valid from May 27, 2024 to July 25, 2024. The top 100 miners ranked by total hashrate contributions will be eligible for rewards.
