Binance announced its support for the highly anticipated Wise Monkey (MONKY) airdrop, which aims to reward FLOKI and ApeCoin (APE) holders with MONKY tokens. This airdrop shows Binance’s support for new projects in the crypto space. It also reflects its commitment to rewarding loyal communities.
Binance airdrop for FLOKI and APE holders
Wise Monkey has allocated 2.7 trillion MONKY tokens for FLOKI holders and 800 billion MONKY tokens for APE holders. The airdrop will be distributed to eligible users via on-chain holdings and Binance-backed exchanges. However, MONKY tokens will be airdropped to FLOKI holders starting December 15, 2024 at 03:00 PDT. The distribution rate is set at 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY.
- Total Allocation: 2.7 trillion MONKY tokens.
- Start Date: December 15, 2024, 03:00 P.M.
- Rate: 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY.
35% of the total MONKY supply is reserved for the Floki community. This is 27% for on-chain FLOKI holders and supported exchanges, 4% for Floki Trading Bot users and 4% for holders of specific tokens in the ecosystem. For the APE community, 10% of the total MONKY supply is allocated. This includes 8% for APE holders on-chain and on exchanges, 1% for Ape Accelerator supporters and 1% for ApeFest participants. The expectations for APE holders are as follows:
- Total Allocation: 800 billion MONKY tokens.
- Start Date: November 29, 2024, 03:00 P.M.
- Rate: 1 APE = 804,828 MONKY.
Eligibility criteria for the airdrop
FLOKI and APE balances must be over 1 token to qualify. Balances in trading orders or tokens waiting to be deposited or withdrawn during the snapshot will not be taken into account. Snapshots will take into account holdings in Spot Wallets, Funding Wallets, and other Binance-backed accounts. Tokens borrowed or transferred from Margin or Loan accounts will also not be counted. Also, users with net liabilities in FLOKI or APE must return the equivalent MONKY received. The distribution timeline will be announced separately after the airdrop is completed. While Binance is supporting the airdrop, this does not guarantee that MONKY will be listed on the exchange. Any potential listing will go through Binance’s strict review process.
