SPX6900 (SPX) and Filecoin (FIL) were today’s top gainers with price gains of 12%. Major altcoins also showed a positive trend, with most of the top 10 coins in the green. The global crypto market was also up 1% to $3.49 trillion. However, trading volume fell by a small 2% to $83 billion. The Fear and Greed Index is currently showing a reading of 60. This suggests that greed has overtaken fear in market sentiment.
Crypto market today: Bitcoin price nears $100
Crypto prices showed strong bullish momentum today, with Bitcoin (BTC) hitting the $100K mark. Major altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), XRP and Solana (SOL) have each gained around 1% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA) lent out 16% of its reserves amid growing interest in BTC loans. The Bitcoin price traded at $99,100 today, up 1% in the last 24 hours. The 24-hour low and high were $97,314 and $99,265, respectively. The market capitalization stands at $1.96 trillion with a trading volume of $24 billion. The BTC ETF recorded a weekly inflow of $244 million, reflecting increased institutional interest, according to SoSo Value data.
In the crypto market today, the Ethereum (ETH) price traded at $3,668, up 1% in the last 24 hours. The 24-hour low and high were $3,595 and $3,682, respectively. Ethereum has a market capitalization of $441 billion and a trading volume of $15 billion. The XRP price was trading at $2.40 today, up about 1% in the last 24 hours. The 24-hour low and high were $2.33 and $2.43, respectively. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse emphasized the positive impact of Donald Trump’s victory on the company’s operations. The SOL price was up 1% today, trading at $216. Its 24-hour low and high were $211 and $218, respectively.
Those cryptos gained
SPX price increased by 12% in the last 24 hours, trading at $1.48. Last week, it increased by 63%. The 24-hour low and high were $1.27 and $1.56, respectively. The crypto market today reflects SPX’s market capitalization of $1.38 billion and trading volume of $94 million. The price of FIL was among today’s top gainers, up 12% and trading at $6.23. The 24-hour low and high were $5.52 and $6.28, respectively. The market capitalization stands at $3.86 billion with a trading volume of $424 million.
In addition, Movement (MOVE), Injective (INJ) and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) also gained 8% to 10% in the last 24 hours. The crypto market today emphasizes that the FET token could reach $3 amid the token burn plan.

VIRTUAL was today’s worst performer, with its price falling nearly 7%. It was trading at $4.10, with 24-hour lows and highs of $3.96 and $4.40, respectively. HYPE price fell 3% in the last 24 hours and traded at $24.81. The 24-hour low and high were $24.06 and $25.63, respectively. The market capitalization is $8.27 billion and the trading volume is $90 million.
Apart from that, BONK, WIF and BEAM also declined by 3% to 4% in the last 24 hours. The crypto market today reflects a mixed trend, with some tokens facing sell-offs despite positive momentum in major cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, the hourly chart also looks bullish as Bitcoin price and major altcoins have turned green in the last hour. Fartcoin has gained 5% in the last hour, signaling positive short-term momentum in the crypto market today.
