Veteran trader Peter Brandt believes altcoins like Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC) have strong charts. Brandt notes that the XRP coin market capitalization broke through the cross resistance of a massive triangle formation, breaking a market that had been in a downtrend for more than seven years. Brandt, who says that a similar situation may apply to LTC, believes that LTC could follow in the footsteps of XRP. Here are all the details…
Peter Brandt’s hopeful statement for XRP coin
Veteran trader Peter Brandt believes a recently bullish large-cap altcoin has one of the most bullish charts in crypto. Brandt, who has a long trading history, tells his 760,700 followers on social media platform X that cross-border payment solution XRP is in the midst of a major breakout. The trader shares a chart showing XRP’s market capitalization clearing the diagonal resistance of a massive triangle formation that has kept the market in a bearish trend for more than seven years. He also makes the following statements:
This is the most powerful chart in the entire crypto world: XRPUSD.
At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $142.621 with a market capitalization of over $2.51 billion. Another altcoin on Brandt’s radar is the payment-focused coin Litecoin (LTC). The veteran trader says that LTC is likely to follow in XRP’s footsteps. Litecoin was changing hands at $131 at the time of writing. Brandt said the following about Litecoin:
This has the potential to be another strong chart LTC.
Bitcoin continues to remain bullish
Turning to Bitcoin (BTC), Brandt says he has been bullish on the crypto king for a long time, despite the possibility that other coins or some US stocks could outperform the top cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Brandt makes the following statements:
Many individual stocks will outperform Bitcoin over the next five to ten years. Which stocks, of course – that is unknown. Still, given the choice between BTC on the one hand and a randomly selected growth stock (or any meme coin or altcoin) on the other, I’m going with Bitcoin in the next five to 10 years. I mean, the younger generations have very high expectations.
As a result, Brandt explains that while other altcoins and some US stocks may outperform Bitcoin, he still believes that Bitcoin will rise in the long run. Brandt states that the younger generation has high expectations and that Bitcoin will be preferred in the next five to ten years.
