According to the official announcement, the Injective token economy upgrade proposal INJ 3.0 will open for voting at 21:07. The proposal will reduce on-chain parameters. This way, it aims to reduce new INJ issuance. It also aims to make the token a more deflationary crypto asset than ever before. If passed, the proposal will gradually reduce the INJ inflation rate over two years.
Metis enacts two new improvements
Tier-2 solution Metis announced the official launch of the second phase of its decentralized sequencer upgrade via a hard fork at block height 16500000. The upgrade mainly introduces new features such as multiple transactions in blocks, transaction pools and sequencer mining. With the upgrade, Metis increases the number of transactions that can be included in a single block from 1 to multiple transactions. It also fixes the transaction confirmation time to 2 seconds. Zero-Knowledge Proof (zk) public Blockchain Mina Protocol has announced a partnership with modular Blockchain project Celestia. The Mina ecosystem will integrate Celestia’s modular decentralized data availability (DA) solution. The integration project is led by zk-SNARKs’ pioneering team Geometry Research. In addition, o1Labs is technically supporting the integration.
By using Celestia’s DA solution, Mina’s zkApps will gain significant capacity improvements, especially when processing large-scale off-chain data. This will further increase the throughput of zkApps. This collaboration also coincides with Mina’s upcoming main-net upgrade, which will bring a more user-friendly zkApp programming model that is expected to significantly increase developer activity and the number of products in the Mina ecosystem.

Binance to support Kava’s network upgrade
Binance, the giant crypto exchange, announced that it will support the upgrade of the Kava Network (KAVA). To facilitate the upgrade and ensure a smooth user experience, the exchange will suspend deposits and withdrawals on the Kava network starting tomorrow. The network upgrade is scheduled to take place around 17:00 on April 24th at a height of 9,561,866 blocks. Meanwhile, the upgrade will not affect token trading on the Kava network.
