Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder of Mysten Labs and core developer of Sui Network (SUI), made important statements. The altcoin founder talked about the next artificial intelligence (AI) “big opportunity”.
Adeniyi Abiodun: 2025 will be a very big year for Sui!

In a post published on X, Abiodun shared a video explaining why he believes “coordination between AIs is the next frontier”. In this context, the founder of the altcoin Sui made the following statement:
Our mission at Mysten Labs is to make the Sui Network the global coordination layer. Giving billions of autonomous agents the power to transact, build and innovate without limits. 2025 will be a very big year for Sui.
Abiodun envisions a future populated by billions of “intelligent agents”. Not only that, he says each user will have their own AI agent. He also mentions that they will interact autonomously with each other.
How does SUI fit into this ‘huge opportunity’ for AI?
Essentially, the altcoin developer envisions that the Sui Network will be the smart contract infrastructure to host these AI-AI interactions. As a crypto Blockchain, SUI can leverage decentralization, decentralized applications (DApps) ecosystem and financial aspects in doing so. Adeniyi Abiodun explains how Sui will adapt to this “huge opportunity”:
Sui needs to be a layer that enables smart agents or AI agents to coordinate with each other, make payments, make large bookings, and all this can be done autonomously.
Altcoin founder wants to work with OpenAI!
Abiodun also doubled down on his belief that AI-to-AI communication is the future. The executive stated that he would love to work with AI companies like OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT. Thus, the co-founder of Mysten Labs opened the door for Sui to potential partnerships with leading LLM developers. This will be an important milestone for the SUI price and its adoption worldwide. It will also position Blockchain within the growing AI narrative.
Meanwhile, AI-related meme tokens have surpassed a market capitalization of $11 billion. Also, some smart traders have made millions in profits through them. Sam Altman, founder of OpenAI, says 2025 will bring AGI developments and AI agents joining the workforce.
Opportunities and threats for altcoin!
At the time of writing, SUI was trading at $5.10, up 490.95% year-over-year. The altcoin project has a market capitalization of $15.38 billion. These impressive results position SUI as one of the best performing cryptocurrencies of the cycle. This is a position that could improve as it embraces the AI narrative.
However, Sui is a recently launched project. Also, there are still billions of tokens waiting to unlock and inflate its supply. As of this writing, there are only 3 billion SUIs out of a total of 10 billion SUIs. So, the fully diluted value (FDV) of Sui is over $50 billion at these prices. A proportionally high valuation at these stages. The Sui-AI “big opportunity” is quite promising. However, investors and traders should remain cautious.
