The cryptocurrency market started December with consolidation after strong rallies. Despite this, the leading crypto Bitcoin continues to struggle around the $95,000 level. In the altcoin market, some tokens like XRP Coin are attracting all the attention. Although the market has lost altitude for now, prospects for the future remain positive. Morgan Creek Capital’s chief investment officer reveals his top five altcoin picks, including SOL Coin.
Yusko says he has become quite fond of Solana (SOL Coin)!
Mark Yusko made some important revelations in a new interview with the Altcoin Daily YouTube channel as we enter the new year. Yusko revealed his top token picks, including Solana (SOL Coin) and Cardano (ADA). Other crypto assets on the manager’s list include XRP, the digital asset associated with Ripple Labs, the meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) and the layer-1 blockchain Hedera (HBAR). In this context, the manager shares the following assessment:
I’ve become quite fond of Solana (SOL Coin), I must say. I mean, the guys did a good job of convincing me and, you know, fortunately we didn’t sell our last bag and it went from $13 to $240, so it’s pretty good.
“I would have put the money on these!”
Yusko goes on to say that if he had “money to lose”, he would bet on ADA, XRP and HBAR, as some firms in the traditional finance (TradFi) world may eventually adopt crypto assets to avoid being left behind. Yusko explains his views on this issue as follows:
If I had money that I was prepared to lose (because I think you can literally lose it) I might actually own some ADA, HBAR and XRP because… Depending on how this ‘czar’ position and all of this stuff evolves, as a bridge to the future (i.e. where incumbents don’t want to be displaced tomorrow), it could be like, ‘You know what? Okay, we’ll use XRP or we’ll use something like Hedera and we’ll be crypto.
Yusko’s last pick is DOGE, which won Musk’s admiration
Mark Yusko ends his preferences with DOGE. The executive says that not owning the original meme coin is a bet against billionaire Elon Musk. As you have been following on Kriptokoin.com, DOGE has made explosive moves many times under the influence of Elon Musk. Here’s how he explains his view:
Honestly, don’t bet against Elon. DOGE is probably not the stupidest thing in the world. I thought it was pretty stupid from $0 to $60 billion, so I’m kidding, I’m the stupid one, but whatever, it probably is.
