The countdown to Bitcoin’s halving event has begun. Former Binance boss Changpeng Zhao shared a post to clarify a halving-related issue. Meanwhile, Binance co-founder Yi He revealed that CZ’s legal situation is “largely peaceful”.
Former Binance boss shared an important halving post!
As you have been following from Kriptokoin.com, former Binance boss Changpeng Zhao has dramatically left his seat. However, CZ has been doing some new work and continues to share his views on market developments. Most recently, CZ answered an important question about the upcoming Bitcoin halving event.
By the way, this event, which is fundamental for any crypto user, will take place later this week. The highly anticipated halving will reduce the block reward once again. Thus, it will bring more scarcity to the leading cryptocurrency. Changpeng Zhao also shared his thoughts on the Bitcoin halving, which was published in October last year. CZ specifically noted that one year after the halving, the Bitcoin price has started to rise to new highs. It will not double overnight, although many people will start asking why.
Weird question: Is Bitcoin’s halving like a stock split?
Changpeng Zhao’s views are based on his experience of three previous halvings. In the same article, CZ warned that he cannot predict the future. He therefore stayed away from making any Bitcoin price predictions.
The former Binance boss noted that he recently received a question from a crypto fan asking if “Bitcoin’s halving is like a stock split.” His answer to this in the post was no. According to CZ, such questions show that “it’s still early days”, pointing to the arrogance of many people when it comes to fundamental issues like the Bitcoin halving mechanism.

Binance co-founder Yi He explains CZ’s legal status!
Binance co-founder Yi He said that former CEO Changpeng Zhao is in a favorable situation in the US regarding his sentencing on April 30. According to Binance News, Zhao stated at a community gathering in Dubai that his situation in the US is peaceful. He also noted that they had anticipated regulatory crackdowns.
This comment came after Zhao was found guilty in the US last year and resigned. The sentencing hearing will take place on April 30. At that hearing, Zhao could face up to 18 months in prison. US prosecutors are seeking a longer sentence. Zhao was released on a bail of $175 million. He also continues to comply with the bail conditions. Earlier, a judge denied CZ’s request to travel to Dubai.
